Geography Bee

Zeke was again in the Geo B this year. 27 kids made the cut and he was in the final round in the top eight. He and five others answered wrong and were asked to sit down to watch the Championship round of the last two students left. He did a great job and so did Sam Smith. Some of the questions went right over my head. Way to go Zeke!!!! I only knew where the Galapagos Islands were from a geography game I played the night before. It is part of what continent? I know.

South America
What other questions did they ask in Geo B?

Driving distances to work for major cities, but they forgot to hand out a map so they cancelled that round. Animal and rivers in what continent or country. The 1st few rounds are all multiple choice and then they just ask the questions with no choices and that is when most of the kids end up out. What island is the largest in the pacific? Etc. Lots of questions. Check out memory games on google and find zgames the geo game is addicting.
