Christmas in the county and John going on a mission goodbye.

We went to the Christmas in the county last weekend and had fun exploring the fair grounds historical items. The train was decorated very cute and we discussed the Polar Express and sat and pretended to be on it. The bathroom was a hit, the toilet had the electric cord coming out of it, all the kids thought that was the best. Eliza, JT and I stayed inside where it was warm while the other three took a sleigh ride around the grounds. We decorated cookies and made some really fun crafts.
John Register is off to the MTC and before he left a little going away party was held the same day. Eric brought his xbox and rock band was a big hit with everyone.

I would have stayed with you it is 5 below here Centigrade but it is still cold because the wind never stops blowing and it blows hard. Today we went out by Vik to go and see the huskies that are being raised out there. They are Greenland huskies and very pretty dogs. He asked us if we wanted to go on a dog sled ride and of course everyone was up to it but me and Valla and Greta. We were the only ones who decided the nice warm four wheel drive car sounded better then the open sleigh. He piled everyone, except the above named, into his four wheel drive and took us out on the beach to what looked to be a large motorless dune buggy and the dogs pulled that. Thank heaven for the warm car is all I can say. More about this on our blog tonight!

Needless to say I would have stayed with you in the train, sounds much warmer. White Christmas I hear, very white and very deep!
