Cenneidigh and my tattoos.  Yes we have marked our skin for at least the next few weeks with Henna and I even bought the Henna so we can do it again.  Pretty fun...I bought the kit at the Renaissance Festival.

JT questions?

This is usually never a good thing...trust me on that.
Why don't I feel the spirit?
I suggested that he was too noisy most of the time, but we would discuss it further in FHE.
How can I break a world record?
No idea..any ideas out there?
Why do I have to waste my time in school?
I've given him tons of responses to this one and none satisfy him.
What is a-sexual or any sexual for that matter?
That was on the way to school today so we will discuss later.  I guess this was a science question on the scantron yesterday and he is sure he got it wrong because he has no idea.
Why can't I stay home and be homeschooled?
You would drive me crazy and learn nothing...that is why.
He has many more questions and every night when we read the B of M he has more and more and more that I have to say no questions until I finish or we will be reading all night long.

Book, books, and more books

  I
I cannot complain, but now we have piles of books, and many of them we have read.  We are giving away on Goodreads and that is going pretty well I just hope it picks up.
If it doesn't then the piles are going to the library sale.
The book blog is fun and I have read so many books I would never have picked up on my own.

Blog help

Heidi and Heather have sent me reviews and I want to say Thank You to them both...any other readers out there?  I don't care what you read and will not judge(maybe a little) just let me know what you read, who it is from, what you liked or disliked and star amount out of 5, and why you read the book is helpful.  Any genre we can use.

Heidi got a comment on her recent review of The Gathering Dead and we don't get many of those...Yeah!!!!

Working hard and reading hard, anyone please review what you have just finished reading and I will post it on the blog.  The newer the better.  Thanks Lisa

Austinaires - NO

Qatar did not make the cut, two sophomores got in.  There is always next year and I really think a year off is a good thing.  He got a call-back and that is a great thing, so he knows he was part of the tough decision making process.

Austinaires ?

We don't know yet?  Qatar got a call back and the teacher said he would post Friday afternoon and then decided he couldn't decide and so he is giving himself until Monday morning or so.  I will let you know if he makes it or not.  He is a year young really so we will see.

School

I looked into one school where I can attend in Rochester to work on a teaching certificate.  Even with my degree I would need to attend classes from 5-10 M-Thurs for two years to get my undergraduate teaching degree.  I would need to leave the hour at 4 and get home after 11 four days a week for two years.  I would see the kids in the AM and then for not even an hour in the PM for four days a week for two years.  That is a bit more then I am willing to do right now.

Buzz agent in training.

Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender - 200WI do not have one one these, but after looking at reviews on other sites I think I would like to try it.  I love to blend and mix and the bulky blender I use can really clog up the counter space, this on the other hand looks like it would fit in a drawer when not in use.  I hate to have my counters cluttered with appliances and gadgets.  This one looks easy to use and best of all easy to clean.  I hate complicated clean up it just makes me not use the appliance.  This looks like an appliance I could really use and love.

Books 88-103 read 2011

 Self discovery in these pages.
Sweet and not as much sex
Not bad for sci-fi

 Great author
Maybe with a bit more work this could be great
 Sweet
Love this author and this was good not like the short story
Ok working my way through all Harlequin different types of romances.  Too much sex in this type still, don't read the Blaze type.
 Interesting
Sweet very clean christian romance
Not worth the time to read this short story is stupid

Retribution (Dark-Hunter, #20)
20th in the series and it was Okay
Sins of the Mother: A Novel
Long story of a family
Invisible
Very short and worth reading
Flash and Bones (Temperance Brennan, #14)
Love this series
His Country Girl (Granger Family Ranch, Book 4)
I got five copies of this to giveaway anyway I want.  I may
leave them in the waiting room at the hospital
next time I am there and give one away
on the blog.

I'm getting tired I need help...if you read just give me a review of the book with the title, and author and how many stars I will fill the rest in for the review and give you the credit.
Any help is needed thanks.

My eyes.....

It may be time, this time.  I had an eye appointment a few years back and she said I needed only reading glasses which I took back because they made me sick.  At the return she told me I would know when I needed glasses and I think it may be time soon.  My eyes hurt and water more and in the morning it takes me an hour or so to actually be able to focus on things.  I read with those reader glasses at a 1.25 right now and that helps me, especially at night.  I hate the fact that when it is dim at all I can't read anything, I used to read in the almost darkness.  Getting old sucks.

9/11 ten years later this is also my 1000 post

I remember where I was when I turned on the TV to see the 2nd plane fly into the towers.  Shock and horror were the feelings and a bit of confusion.    Where were you?

Book Readers out there I need your help!!!

If you have read a new book lately please write and tell us about it.  Why did you read it, where did you get it, what would you rate it out of 5, and give me a 200 plus word review of what you thought.
This would be great and very helpful...I can fill in the author bio, summary, and other reviews.
Thanks Lisa

To work or not to work...that is the question.

My boss from Albert Lea called asking if I would come back, I had a slow season last year so I'm not sure.  Then he told me the new owner wants me to come back and manage the place.  Well I was a manager of a 24/7 facility years ago and hated it most of the time. Management is tough and friends that you use to work with now work for you and don't respond the same.  Also the hours and the kids would hate that, they are spoiled rotten with me home most of the time.  Subbing this year is changing and I don't know how that is going to work...I don't really know what to do.  What a pain and along with this my therapist thinks I should go back to school and become a special ed teacher.  What to do, what to do?

Utah trip staying with the Bremner's

How they put up with us is the question?  We stayed with my brothers family in Utah and had a great time.  Some of us climbed almost to the top of Timp, some of us washed windows at a service project and some of us made quilts and scarves, all of us had a fabulous apple pie for David's birthday, all of us had plenty of good food to eat and all of us had a great time playing at the Hollywood connection in West Valley.  I forgot how much I love to roller skate.

Lily giggled us awake every morning and Heather kept us awake playing games every evening.  The place was packed with all of us joining Paige there also.  So much fun and such a great family they are with one more to join them soon.  Thanks guys for a wonderful time!!!!  The ohotos are everyone getting ready for church at 9, it went better then I would have imagined it to go.  We all made it on time.
