The invisible fence project

David and the kids installed an invisible fence on Saturday. The funny part was that they all wanted to try the collar out. We just had them hold it, I wasn't going to allow anyone to place it around their neck. It does give you quite a shock. But, now we have to train Parker, or he will just fight through it and stand barking at us on the other side. This should be interesting. We had to lay out the wire to test before we buried it.

So funny! We had an invisible fence for our dog when I was in High school. But we would actually put the collar around our necks to try it out.

Sure doesn´t look like Qatar wanted to try our the collar. So how is it working - on Parker that is?

Now you can keep Qatar in the yard!

We had one of these when I was in high school for our Rottweiler. After about a year our neighbor commented on how smart the dog was. We asked what he was talking about and he said the dog waited 10-15 minutes after Mom left for work each morning, backed up and got a running start to go through the fence.

About 30 minutes before she came home the dog returned. I guess he figured out it only hurt for a second LOL
