After the basic tests and a year of classes - I took the elementary pedagogy exams - 2 sub tests - I found these tests to be mostly common sense - I did not feel the questions were confusing but instead quite easy and the answer choices gave you the idea of the correct answer as long as you read the question correctly - just read the question and know what it is asking and you will do great.
I took about 30 minutes taking this test and then went back over the whole test and still ended with 10 minutes to spare on both exams.
If you have spent time in a classroom this test will not be an issue for you.
