More hair shots

I figure this is pretty self centered of me, but then it is my blog. Here is the curly look and I like it better then the straight. I think straight hair would be nice sometimes(like when I wear a hat and then have horrible hat hair). The highlights are light and taking a bit of getting use to for me. I think overall I like them.

Another in the Troubleshooter series. More info on the characters and their on going life. I love reading serials. I'm a big sucker for these kind of books and stories.

JT lost another tooth

He lost one right in the front this time. He lost it at school on Monday, we had an early release and all my appts. at work cancelled after 10 so I was able to get home in time to pick them up.

The kids were cleaning out the toy closet and Qatar was in the closet throwing things out and it was upsetting JT. JT said, "Why can't I ever be in the closet, I'm never in the closet, I'm always outside, its not fair."

Then the conversation turned to who is the dominate male in the family. Qatar said he was, and Zeke said JT was the town retard and JT yelled he wasn't, that was Zeke.(whatever that means) Dad was never mentioned as the top dog though.

Army soldiers are not action figures if you were wondering(I over heard that). JT just told me they don't have moving parts, now it's obvious to me.

Highlights to cover the gray that is coming.

I had highlights put into today by Melanie and I love her she is the best stylist ever. Two weeks ago when Qatar was getting a hair cut I told her I wanted to become a blond. She laughed and told me she was glad I still had two weeks to think about it. I chickened out by the way. Melanie straighten my hair so I could see the highlights and I look strange with straight hair(my face is too round, forehead to tall darn those Bremner genes). The kids told me I was too old to pull this look off. One day young the next old, oh well I can't win.

Books 14 and 15

I'm on a roll and I'm enjoying it, not watching much TV these days, just reading. I have a book on CD in the car, one that David picked off the shelf and it is sad and depressing, but now I'm stuck I need to know what happens. I listen 20 mins to and from work and then anytime I'm in the car alone, a great way to get more reading done(or listening I guess). The covers of these books are ridiculous, but whatever. Suspense/romance is that these two are.

Science Fair

Ezekiel and Cenneidigh participated in the Banfield science fair this year. It's a requirement for 4th and 5th grade. Competition's optional, but they both decided to compete. I was asked to judge by Amanda, but not my children's divisions. Most of the projects were excellent and I enjoyed the discussion with the different kids on why and what they did.

Cenneidigh and her partner Emma won an award from Hormel for doing a food based project. Taste and smell and how they relate. Ezekiel did a project on hand eye coordination and video games. They both did a great job and I got some great pointer for next year. Make it easy with as few variables as possible and test multiple times for good results.
