Mommy Strike Update

OK I am on my way to class in a few minutes and David is not enabling anyone tonight...he is letting them forage in the cupboards for dinner....soup, chili, etc.  I am not putting a dish in the dishwasher and Qatar is doing his laundry as we speak....I am off the clock.  Of course I just got a call that they may be putting me on a long-term sub for the rest of the year...so this Strike may not see an end anytime soon.  That is a good thing for this crew they are way to dependent on me and my ways of making sure everything gets done, everyone gets where they need to be, everyone eats something healthy....oh well they are young and will survive with all the canned goods, packaged and processed food in the house...but oh no we are out of chips already...the horror...the drama...the fat not missed.  Wish the kids luck or not...because there can be only one victor and it will be the Mommy this time.

Going on strike against unfair labor practices

I am sick of being treated like a second class citizen and I have told the perpetrators this repeatedly and yet nothing has changed...well I see no way around this impasse then to stop doing what I am doing and go on Strike.  I have informed them of my terms and let them know that I am not doing anything this week until I get some respect.  I am officially on Mommy Strike.

No meals, no clean laundry, no rides, no talking unless they have something nice to say...to me...to anyone.   I am done being disrespected and taken advantage of. (they can do all the above themselves, I am not helping at all.)

Zeke told me today while borrowing my lotion that to stop with the make-up it wasn't helping anyway....I told him to leave and that he is not welcomed back to my bathroom with that attitude.  Qatar got mad last week because I did not bring him candy home from the store(you never think about anyone but you....you are a terrible mom)...now no one gets any candy because I am not shopping this week or cooking(good luck with having cereal everynight- we are almost out of milk and cereal)...Cenny yells at me when I tell her her room is a mess- so she is in her room until it is clean and if not done by 8PM tonight David is taking a garbage bag to what is left....JT thinks I'm stupid and tells me as much everyday...also the make-up things was JT's first...he told me that last week, he also informed that I am his maid.... think again buddy.  Gunnar BTW is on his 6th month of being my favorite child ever.  

Well this stupid, ugly mother is done and enjoying her week with class two nights, going out to dinner with David Weds, Thurs, and Friday....good luck kids there is no real food in the house only ingredients!!!

End of my Second Semester and on to my Third now

I ended my second semester with straight A'a again and I am relaxing a bit...I have been a bit intense, another student told me that an A is 100% down to 95% so relax to the 95% if you require an A....The A is on the transcript not the percentage you got in the class.  I guess I need to do that.  I freaked out this semester because the weather was just awful on Mondays and Tuesdays....Thursday classes were never an issue.  So I did miss two classes due to weather and not wanting to die on the road.

I have a 4.0 average....yeah!!!!!  I do need to channel a bit of the bachelor degree Lisa and relax a bit more. School starts again on Thursday and I am already starting to panic with all the new things I will have to do and the service hours I will have to fit in......I need a vacation.

Yes this is what I will do at least a few times to each child each year or so.

Then I will take the in-law out for dinner and a movie while my child puts up with the mess I made and the kids they have produced that I have just overfed sugar, caffeine and shown then tons of scary movies.  HAHAHA!!!!!  I will enjoy bugging my kids.

We came in 2nd in State

We lost the championship game, but we played well and the other team wasted lots of time just passing the ball running down the clock most of the game.  I am proud of our boys...they played their hearts out.
